Recently, we had the long awaited, Xbox Games Showcase which has shown off a wonderful selection of games coming over the next couple of years.
I saw this recent post, discussing this individual “renewed optimism” for gaming following this showcase, stating it was the “best showcase ever”.
The main theme was the wealth of titles, which are offering a deep single player experience, which is seen in a variety of titles such as Avowed, Dragon Age the Veilguard, Atomfall and many others.

I personally have to agree, being a 13 + year Xbox veteran myself, it’s refreshing to see these deep single player experiences, hitting our consoles shortly.
It would be great to hear others’ opinions on the Xbox Showcase, and did it surpass expectations? Fall below, or did it just meet them?
