Overview

You have the chance to join an established multinational Technology Solutions Provider, who is currently looking to appoint a Regional Sales Manager in Netherlands. The successful candidate will manage regional and national distribution partners, drive revenue growth, and identify new business opportunities with distributors and end-users. Success will require meeting sales and profit targets and confidently presenting to distributors, field end-users, and C-suite executives.

Our client is a leading, global software solutions business, headquartered in Canada and the UK, with offices in the US, France, and UAE. The business recently gained recognition for Best Product Design 2023, for their cloud connectivity and integrated location technology, and hope to continue their success within the industry for years to come.

Key Responsibilities for the Regional Sales Manager:
 

  • Drive sales growth by supporting distribution partners’ sales and marketing efforts and providing direct end-user support alongside distributor representatives.
  • Manage the entire sales process for distribution partners, from initial contact through to purchase order and handoff to the implementation team.
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities, both directly and through distribution channels, to grow the sales funnel and achieve quota targets.
  • Engage in lead follow-up from demand generation efforts and qualify new distribution partners to expand geographic and vertical market reach.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows to enhance brand presence, secure new leads, and strengthen client relationships.
  • Provide weekly pipeline updates to the Sales Director, highlighting distribution progress and status of potential end-user clients.

Key Requirements for the Regional Sales Manager:
 

  • Self-motivated critical thinker with a history of executing strategic sales plans and achieving results in senior sales roles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong network of clients.
  • Extensive experience in strategic account management, preferably as a manufacturer representative or distributor sales professional.
  • Proven success in selling complex business solutions to large enterprises.
  • Proficient in CRM and productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with at least 5 years of B2B experience in complex product or service sales.
  • Experience in gas detection or safety-related services (Desirable).
