Overview

You have the chance to join an international legal and professional services firm, who operate across 13 jurisdictions, and provide expertise across three key pillars: Legal, Corporate & Fiduciary, and Consulting. The firm has won multiple awards in recent years such as Best Law Firm, Offshore Law Firm of the Year, ESG Consultant of the Year.

Our client is now looking to appoint a Programme Manager, this will be a key role of their strategy implementation, you will oversee and drive forward projects across the company. This will be a hands-on approach, co-ordinating teams and project to align with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking charge of an established program, proactively overseeing its progress, resolving issues, and initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensuring alignment and collaboration with broader organizational programs to support appropriate resourcing and prioritization.
  • Chairing SteerCo sessions and ensuring stakeholders comprehend their roles and responsibilities within the program.
  • Participating in relevant meetings, boards, and other SteerCo sessions, providing valuable input.
  • Overseeing the program’s governance arrangements to maintain effectiveness and compliance.
  • Ensuring robust quality assurance and maintaining the overall integrity of the program.
  • Managing the program’s budget, monitoring expenditures against delivered benefits, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Facilitating the appointment of individuals to project teams and ensuring resource allocation.
  • Ensuring the delivery of new products or services aligns with quality standards, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
  • Directly supporting project delivery within the program, as necessary.
  • Managing third-party contributions to the program, fostering effective collaboration.
  • Handling communications with all stakeholders and maintaining the stakeholder map.
  • Supporting change management and communication delivery, as required.
  • Managing both dependencies and interfaces between projects to ensure seamless integration.
  • Mitigating risks to the program’s successful outcome through risk management.
  • Leading and facilitating program and project meetings for effective collaboration and decision-making.
  • Managing and updating the Program Progress Dashboard on Smartsheets for comprehensive tracking.

Skills required:
Proven experience as a Program Manager.
In-depth understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
Excellent knowledge of change management principles.
Relevant certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
Ideally, experience using Smartsheets in a program environment (training will be provided).
