CTO – NPPV clearance

A managed service provider requires a CTO to join them to work for a Police constabulary to deliver a nation police IT programme. The CTO will be home based and will require NPPV clearance and prior police experience.

The CTO will have the following experience:

• National Police IT Programmes
• Knowledge of the National Digital Policing Strategy 2020-2030 and Digital Forensic Science Strategy – ISO 17025/17020
• An appreciation of the challenges of achieving digital transformation within the UK public sector and specifically UK Policing
• Experience of conducting detailed and timely assessments
• Understanding of the UKAS accreditation requirements and the Forensic Science Regulator Codes governing Digital Transformation to ensure any recommendations are fit for purpose and have the confidence of the Criminal Justice System.

The CTO will establish the ‘as is’ in terms of digital capabilities, ongoing digital transformation plans, investment and strategies against the current operational requirement and public offer.
