Security Engineer/ Architect – Snowflake, Azure, Cloud, Containerisation, IaaS, K8s, AI, dbt, DWH, Cortex, CI/CD, GitHub CoPilot, Terraform, Encryption Hybrid (2d/month LDN) Outside IR35

This is a fantastic hands on Cloud Security Engineer/ Architect opportunity with a leading London based tech company.

The Cloud Security Engineer/ Architect is Mainly remote with occasional visits to London as in 2 days per month.

The Cloud Security Engineer/ Architect is Outside IR35.

This role is a combination of InfoSec Consultant, Design and hands on Engineering around Cloud (Azure) and Snowflake. The Cloud Security Engineer/ Architect must have solid experience of Snowflake as well as Azure & dbt with strong Security best practices at all levels with regards to Cloud (including current and existing regulation / compliance) The focus is on Data and AI related projects and the Cloud Security Engineer/ Architect will help to design and then also build the rapid scaling Cloud environments needed.  The Cloud Security Engineer/ Architect will ensure best security practise across all teams including engineer from the start. The project focuses on analytics using Snowflake Cortex for ML/AI alongside CI/CD and dbt. Experience with all 3 is essential as Cloud Security Engineer/ Architect as is experience creating containerised environments, deploying secure DWH with Snowflake and Cortex and the hands on skills to automate code builds and deployments through GH Actions (integrate with Azure) Any experience using tools such as GitHub CoPilot, dbt Cloud or Jira would be desirable as Cloud Architect / Engineer. Terraform skills are essential as Cloud Security Architect / Engineer as is in depth encryption, network segmentation, encryption and access control.
