Client Account Manager – IT Solutions – Account Management

£50,000 per annum + double uncapped OTE

Hybrid WFH/office – Central London

You have the chance to work for a global IT Managed Services business that supplies IT consulting, technical and support services, and managed services to a global portfolio of clients consisting of household brand names, including Fortune 100 companies. They operate in over 190 countries, have 100,000 + staff members, and received an award for the Clarivate Top 100 Global Innovator 2021 programme.

They are building out a new sales function within the team and are looking for a Client Account Manager who will be a young, hungry, and motivated sales professional. The Client Account Manager will offer them the fire in the belly that'll take the business to the next level.

The Client Account Manager will bring a strong work ethic and sales training, excellent communication skills, and a can-do attitude – you don't need any technical background, you'll be trained!

Client Account Manager key responsibilities:

  • Inherit existing, live accounts, and identify stakeholders to build strong relationships with – no new business!
  • Recognise opportunities for upsell/cross-sell and add value to their business with IT solutions
  • Follow up on leads provided by the Marketing team
  • Minimise churn, maximise retention
  • Provide an exceptional level of customer service and ensure client satisfaction

Client Account Manager key requirements:

  • Experience within account management in a similar environment
  • Proven sales experience and track record of achieving targets
  • Exceptional communication skills and consultative approach
  • General interest in technology
  • Customer service background would be great, but not essential
