Overview
You have the chance to work for a leading UK-based IT Services business, with a team of over 400 professionals who are passionate about providing cloud communications and managed services solutions!
Our client is now seeking a driven Business Development Executive to generate and close new business opportunities in the mid-market sector, focusing on migrating clients to cloud services. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual with proven sales and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies in collaboration with marketing and SDR/BDR teams, focusing on net new logo acquisition.
- Identify client needs, propose tailored solutions, and present to C-level stakeholders to drive sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while consistently exceeding monthly sales and gross profit targets.
- Proactively source and qualify new leads through targeted outreach, networking, and adding quality opportunities to the sales pipeline.
- Lead negotiations, manage complex decision-making processes, and overcome objections to close new business deals.
- Provide accurate and customized proposals, while contributing feedback to improve campaign effectiveness and lead quality.
Key Requirements:
- Proven track record in new business generation, with experience selling Digital Workplace, Communications, Cloud, and Managed Services to corporate, enterprise, and mid-market clients.
- Strong skills in lead generation, customer acquisition, and driving new business growth, with demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders and champion customer needs.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven, with strong problem-solving abilities and a growth mindset to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with sales tools and processes, including MS Office, Salesforce, Salesloft, and Cognism, with telecom industry experience preferred but not essential.
- A collaborative team player capable of working effectively across departments while managing pressure and adapting to challenges.
