Overview

You have the chance to join a multi award winning SaaS business. The business has been operating for over 30 years and are globally established. They have over 1,000 customers in a variety of industries and are experiencing continued growth year on year.

Our client is looking to appoint a Bid Manager, as part of their successful Pre-Sales department, to oversee the entire bid process, from start to finish. This role involves ensuring the on-time delivery of high-quality proposals that align with client needs, efficiently managing resources, and ensuring compliance with all RFP/I requirements and guidelines. Additionally, the Bid Manager will leverage insights into market trends and competitor activities to shape and refine bid strategies.

Key Responsibilities for the Bid Manager:
 

  • Manage the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification and strategy development to proposal submission.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure bids meet client needs, align with company goals, and adhere to quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks while maintaining compliance with certification frameworks.
  • Develop expertise in company solutions to effectively address client requirements and articulate value propositions.
  • Maintain and update the RFP/I knowledge base and ensure quality control of bid responses.
  • Analyse bid performance metrics and conduct post-bid reviews to drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements for the Bid Manager:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in bid preparation and review.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Skilled in influencing stakeholders across various organisational levels.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven, with a proactive approach.
